UPDATE 15/05/2020: The Examination hearing has now been completed and examiners report can be downloaded below. The Parish Council are reviewing the report before agreeing the next steps with Horsham District Coucil.

Following Thakeham Homes' representation on 12 March 2020, the Examiner allowed other parties the opportunity to respond. Final comments from Other Parties had to of been on/before 27 March 2020. Submission made are set out below:


Opportunity for Thakeham Homes to make further representations 

Representatives from Thakeham Homes were unable to attend the hearing on 28 February 2020 as they were in self-isolation due to potential exposure to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). As a result the Examiner allowed Thakeham Homes to make any further representations they may wish to by 13 March 2020. Thakeham Homes submitted the following representation on 12 March 2020.


Neighbourhood Plan hearing (28th February 2020)

The examiner has determined that a Hearing is necessary to ensure adequate examination of a number of matters relating to the Plan. These are set out in the formal Agenda for the Hearing (Annex 1). The Hearing is a public hearing and will take place on Friday 28th February 2020 between 10.00 a.m. and 16.00 p.m. at Southwater Leisure Centre, 2 Pevensey Road, Southwater, West Sussex RH13 9XZ.

Horsham District Council will invite attendance from those the examiner wishes to hear from (as listed in Annex 2). Members of the public can also attend and will, subject to the Examiners agreement and sufficient time being available, be able to speak. The documents below have been published by the examiner in advance of the hearing. Annex 3 to contains guidance for the conduct of the Hearing.
